MODERATOR at BEYOND Expo 2025: Showcasing Innovative Cooling and Heat Recovery Solutions
From 4–6 April 2025, the MODERATOR project was present at BEYOND Expo in Athens, one of the leading technology and innovation events in Southeast Europe. Together, our partners CERTH (Centre for Research & Technology Hellas) and SYNAPSECOM highlighted how immersion cooling and waste heat recovery can transform the sustainability of data centres.
The exhibition provided an excellent opportunity to present new tanks integrating Shell immersion fluids and power solutions from Murata, already deployed in pilot systems. These technologies, combined with MODERATOR’s research on thermal energy storage and heat reuse, attracted significant interest from visitors across sectors.
Our booth became a hub for engaging discussions and potential collaborations, with many participants eager to explore how MODERATOR’s approach can reduce energy demand in data centres while turning waste heat into a valuable resource.
We were also pleased to showcase the strong collaboration within the consortium, with project coordinator CERTH and technical partner SYNAPSECOM actively contributing to discussions and presentations throughout the event.
Participation in BEYOND Expo underlined MODERATOR’s role in shaping Europe’s digital and energy future, where smart, scalable solutions are needed to meet rising demands for computing power while supporting the green transition.
